What are the responsibilities and job description for the Flexible Benefits Solutions Manager position at Leading Edge Administrators?
Job Summary:
The position will oversee the planning and execution of Flexible Benefits programs. This includes liaising with clients, coordinating internally, developing solutions, data analysis and reporting. The position is the primary administrator of benefits programs from onboarding through retention of Flexible benefits, Health Savings Accounts, Health Reimbursement Accounts and related programs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Liaise with sales team to understand sold products and implement plans within benefits administration system
- Coordinate with various internal departments and external functions to support implementation and ongoing client retention
- Gather and analyze data, identify opportunities for process improvement, and recommend solutions for optimal service delivery
- Serve as subject matter expert; manage and configure the benefits system to include, but not limited to: training users, activating/deactivating accounts, maintaining the system, and handling client onboarding and offboarding
- Be the reimbursement benefits data management expert applying a deep understanding of data interfaces to analyze, assess, report, and implement optimal solutions.
- Ensure high client satisfaction by successful management client issues, resolve, escalate when necessary; communicate resolution to all parties
- Manage the daily service operations for the Reimbursement benefits platform for smooth service delivery
- Administer banking arrangements for client funding, accurate posting of deposits/contributions/deductions; ensure account banking partner transactions process correctly and resolve discrepancies
- Formulate and update departmental policies and procedures
- Provide direction for day-to-day operations of direct reports and operations areas of responsibility. Act as a visible, approachable subject matter expert interacting regularly with team members.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3 years of reimbursement account benefits administration experience utilizing Alegeus
- Knowledge of benefits administration, pricing, reimbursement accounts and / or claims as well as legislation related to these types of offerings preferred
- Advanced knowledge of database applications such as Excel
