Administrative Assistant/Payroll Clerk (on-site position)

Position Summary
Work as a flexible team member in the Accounts Payable Department assisting in the areas of A/P, Payroll, Benefits, database management and general HR.
Responsibilities
-Inputting all incoming invoices into the QuickBooks program daily
· Filing paperwork in respective areas
· Assist A/P Manager with daily inputting of information
· Processing weekly payroll and related tasks
· Assist with quarterly time-study projects and allocation reports.
· Assist with general tasks and requests for information.
-Maintain payroll and benefit files, databases, including employment, employee demographics, leaves, workers comp claims, wage and employment verifications, and garnishments.
· Assist with preparing exit packets.
· Create and maintain benefit deductions.
· Assist with new hire processing, background checks, and onboardings.
-Track, collect and enter required employee documents, including I-9’s, into Paychex system
· Maintain all files to ensure employee documents are updated. Perform misc. administrative tasks, including database entries, reports, compiling and distributing materials, filing, etc.
· Other duties and projects as assigned.
· Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office.
· Experience in accounting, billing or payroll is a must.
·Ability to communicate with employees, vendors, customers
· Positive attitude with excellent communication and customer service skills.
· Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks with timeliness and attention to detail.

· Maintain strict confidentiality and appropriately work with sensitive information and documents.
