What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Inspection position at Leadman Electronics?
JOB SUMMARY:
Quality Assurance is responsible for inspection and testing result recording to the quality management system, ensure adherence to product specifications and regulatory requirements throughout the testing process. Quality Assurance supports the operations through all phases of the product’s lifecycle.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
IQC:
1. Perform inspections of incoming parts, subassemblies according to specifications or standards procedures using standard physical, mechanical and/or electrical measurements as needed.
2. Accurately document the results of the inspections and testing, especially on non-conforming issues on data sheets/forms as applicable.
3. Maintaining all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner.
4. Initiate and process non-conforming material reports when required and document nonconformance to specifications through the completion of required paperwork.
5. Participate and/or assist in writing and updating inspection procedures, protocol, and checklists.
6. Assist, when necessary, in inspection of in-process or shipping finished goods.
7. Perform other duties not listed as required by management.
LINE QC:
1. Perform inspections in production lines according to specifications or standards procedures using standard physical, mechanical and/or electrical measurements as needed.
2. Accurately document the results of the inspections and testing, especially on non-conforming issues on data sheets/forms as applicable.
3. Maintaining all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner.
4. Participate and/or assist in writing and updating inspection procedures, protocol, and checklists.
5. Assist, when necessary, in inspection of incoming materials or shipping finished goods.
6. Perform other duties not listed as required by management.
FQC:
1. Perform inspections of finished goods according to specifications or standards Procedures using standard physical, mechanical and/or electrical measurements as needed.
2. Provide final quality approval for product to meet requirements.
3. Accurately document the results of the inspections and testing, especially on non-conforming issues on data sheets/forms as applicable.
4. Maintaining all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner.
5. Participate and/or assist in writing and updating inspection procedures, protocol, and checklists.
6. Assist, when necessary, in inspection of incoming materials or in-process goods.
7. Perform other duties not listed as required by management.
