Job Title: General Manufacturing Shop Foreman
Location: Midland, Texas

Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Directly supervises shop personnel who are involved in the operation of designated production line including approving timesheets and overtime of employees.
- Provides input and information to assist in manufacturing production schedule to Production Manager to maintain company objectives.
- Monitors manufacturing processes and ensures quality and accountability of subordinates.
- Enforces safety policies and procedures to create a safe working environment; conducts safety meetings and training when requested by management.
- Inspects tools, machines, and equipment regularly, reporting maintenance needs or issues promptly.
- Assists inspectors to ensure all quality records for designated production area are completed in accordance with standards and requirements where applicable.
- Notifies Production Manager and inspectors of all discrepancies that would otherwise delay production to adjust scheduling accordingly.
- Ensures the safety standards set for by client are followed, and all employees are held to standard to guarantee a safe work environment.
- Monitors and maintains a supply of personal protective equipment for employees from Safety department and reports all incidences.
- Assists employees to address and resolve concerns and complaints regarding job duties and descriptions, performance standards and relations with coworkers and supervisors.
- Assists the Production Manager in scheduling orientation for all new employees within the department to include training of quality policy, employee requirements, and training for individual work instructions.
- Maintains efficient and logical filing system for all documentation as needed and required.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Must learn and follow all our quality requirements which includes API and ASME, or any other applicable standards, procedures, and work instructions which may apply.
- Must be able to work with foremen, supervisors, and administrative staff as well as subordinates to manage the implementation and/or continuance of safe work practices, operations, and overall function of the facility.
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Professional written and verbal communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Must have ability to recognize material defects, areas of improvement, and other weaknesses in all products.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
- Bilingual abilities in Spanish preferred but not required.
