What are the responsibilities and job description for the LDTC position at Leap Academy University Charter School?
- Conduct educational evaluations as part of the Child Study Team
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and related service providers to develop effective IEPs
- Provide consultation and support to staff on strategies and interventions
- Participate in I&RS meetings, eligibility determinations, and reevaluation planning
- Support a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Valid NJ LDTC certification (or eligibility)
- Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
- Knowledge of NJ special education code and evaluation procedures
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
- Charter school experience a plus, but not required
- Full medical, dental, prescription and vision coverage, including spouse, child and family coverage
- Mandatory enrollment in NJ Pension (TPAF)
