Job Title: Registered Nurse – Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab)

Schedule: Day shift with on-call rotation (including nights, weekends, and holidays)
Position Summary:
We're seeking an experienced and motivated Cath Lab RN to join our growing cardiovascular team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in delivering high-quality care during invasive cardiovascular procedures and capable of working in a fast-paced, team-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist cardiologists and radiologists with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures (e.g., angiograms, stents, pacemakers).
- Monitor patients’ condition before, during, and after procedures.
- Administer medications and manage IVs according to protocols.
- Operate and monitor specialized equipment used in the Cath Lab.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including education and consent verification.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation in EMR systems.
- Respond quickly and efficiently to emergencies, including cardiac arrest situations.
- Participate in the on-call rotation for emergency procedures outside of scheduled hours.
- Ensure patient safety, infection control, and adherence to hospital protocols.
Qualifications:
- Required:
- Current and unrestricted RN license in Arizona (or compact state).
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of critical care, telemetry, or Cath Lab experience.
- Ability to take on-call responsibilities and arrive at the hospital within 30 minutes when on call.
- Preferred:
- Prior Cath Lab RN experience.
- RCIS or CCRN certification.
- BSN degree.
