Duties include:
Functions as a teacher assistant in the classroom helping implement age appropriate curriculum using various activities to stimulate the children’s social, emotional, intellectual and physical development.
Interact positively with the children and model good behavior. Use appropriate guidance and discipline techniques as outlined in discipline policy
Record daily activities of the children and report any major issues to the owner and parent. Communicate with the families any incidents that have occurred and recorded on site. Daily cleaning/sanitizing of toys and classroom equipment.
Maintain knowledge of DCFS Licensing standards (407) and keep abreast of new policies.
Ensure the health and safety of all children by keen supervision.
Ensure compliance with city and state regulations to provide optimal a safe educational and nurturing environment to children families and staff
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old
Must have minimum High School diploma
Must provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination
Must have experience with children and daycare setting
