LearnWell is currently looking for our next creative and passionate teacher to fill a full-time school year position in Worcester, MA. The certified teacher will work in a unique fast-paced behavioral health facility center; which involves working with students with behavioral diagnosis in a small classroom setting and supporting them academically with common core subjects while they are receiving treatment.
Essential functions of the job may include but are not limited to the following:
Plan, prepare and deliver daily lesson plans and instructional material for an average of 6 students within each group
Help students one-on-one if extra assistance is needed on their individual school curriculum.
Use relevant technology to support and differentiate instruction
Communicate necessary information regularly to students, hospital and parents regarding student progress and student needs
Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use information to adjust teaching strategies
Updating daily attendance and creating daily session reports for each student
Position entails a 40-hour a week commitment, Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm.
