As of June 23rd, a Midtown law firm is seeking an Assistant Managing Clerk to support the continued success of the firm’s Litigation Practice. Responsibilities for this role will include:
Overseeing docketing and e-filing activities with state and federal courts.
Offering procedural guidance to all litigators as well as providing training to attorneys, new team members, and other firm personnel.
Developing best practices, communicating with the courts, and handling other litigation processes.
Calendaring filing deadlines and alerting the attorneys of upcoming matters.
Effectively resolving any issues that arise.
Requirements:
3 years in a Managing Attorney or Managing Clerk’s office.
Bachelor’s Degree and/or Paralegal Certificate.
Strong proficiency in electronic filing and calendaring procedures.
Strong leadership skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to apply attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
