What are the responsibilities and job description for the Snack Bar Attendant position at Lebanon Valley Golf Course?
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintaining store cleanliness and appearance to exceed guest standards.
- Light cooking
- Beer and liquor sales
- Restocking items
- Preparing and serving menu items at the counter, tables, and patio
- Using cash register for cash or credit card payment
- Completing necessary paperwork during a scheduled shift
- Maintaining a clean work environment when opening shift, working mid shift, and closing
- Providing excellent customer service to guests
- Must be 18 due to alcohol serving
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to stand for long periods. Some of the time will be spent working actively including but not limited to bending, stretching, lifting and walking.
SCHEDULE: Schedule includes weekends, holidays, and shift work. Some extended hours are required.
HAZARDS ENCOUNTERED: Use of hot cooking equipment and sharp knives can be dangerous if used in a careless manner. Wet or slippery floors and some cleaning chemicals can be hazardous if directions are not followed.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Basic arithmetic skills with ability to speak, write and understand English. Able to follow instructions and present adequate manners and respect.
PRIOR EXPERIENCE: None required, willing to train. Any prior knowledge or experience is a plus. Ramp training will be required.
PERSONALITY REQUIREMENTS: Neat, clean appearance, friendly and able to provide a variety of guests personable, attentive service while always being courteous. Must like dealing with the public and enjoy doing so. Must be able to work alone, as well as collaborate with other employees without constant supervision and be self-motivated and perform duties quickly and efficiently.

Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
