As the first line of communication with prospects, ideal Sales Reps have a strong understanding of the sales process, excel at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting our entire team up for success. You should be a quick learner with strong communication skills and have the ability to showcase LED Supply's value creation in a compelling way. Every potential customer is an opportunity for you to boost top-line revenue growth and profitability.

 

This position is responsible for developing new business opportunities to achieve individual sales objectives by performing the following duties: Cold Calling, email outreach, and scheduling meetings with high value prospects and supports Sales Director and Sales Support in prospecting and developing new business, proactively identifies new leads and develops impactful strategies to convert those leads into opportunities for our team. Owns the sales process from start to finish with a sense of urgency. Utilizes CRM to track activity and move opportunities through the pipeline and sales process.


Essential Functions:

  • Generate new business and leads on an ongoing basis.
  • Schedule meetings and presentations with prospects.
  • Collect sales data to track effectiveness of outreach efforts and changes approach to improve results.
  • Maintain a well-developed pipeline of prospects.
  • Work with customers to provide solutions and ensure an excellent customer experience.
  • Work to find new sales leads through Zoom Info, LinkedIn, Hubspot, Google Earth, etc.
  • Understand and communicate incentive programs/offerings to customers, when appropriate.
  • Track all sales activities in company CRM (Netsuite)
  • Maintains punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.
  • Partner with the Sales Support team to execute submittals and sales orders.
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
  • Respectfully take direction from management.

Required Qualifications

  • 3 years’ experience in an outside sales position with a proven ability to target and close high dollar value contracts
  • 3 years’ experience in the lighting industry or as electrical contractor/engineer
  • Competitive, self-motivated, detailed-oriented, ability to work independently, and manage personal schedule.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas.
  • Motivation to work hard to achieve high performance metrics.
  • Strong social and communication skills.
  • Desire to work with a fun, fast-paced team and make an impact in a play-to-win atmosphere.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace apps, MS Office Suite.
  • Must have personal automobile, valid driver's license, and be willing to travel nation wide.

Compensation

  • Base salary -$50,000-$80,000 Commission
  • Benefits
  • Health, Dental & Vision eligible 60-days after start date
  • 80 hours of PTO first year of employment (Accrual starts the first day of employment)
  • 120 hours of PTO starting at the second year of employment
  • 48 hours sick time per year (Accrual starts the first day of employment)
  • 9 paid holidays

  • Partial cell phone reimbursement
