Ledgent Finance & Accounting is seeking a Tax Compliance Administrator to support one of our Tampa clients with ongoing tax compliance and data management needs following a recent software implementation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is detail‑oriented, organized, and comfortable handling high‑volume transactional work.

What You'll Do

• Review, validate, and upload sales tax exemption and resale certificates in Avalara
• Confirm certificate completeness, jurisdiction accuracy, and expiration details
• Maintain customer tax profiles and assist with customer/item taxability updates
• Collaborate with Sales, AR, and Finance teams to resolve missing or inaccurate data
• Perform data clean‑up to ensure alignment between Avalara and the ERP system
• Document work performed and flag discrepancies or potential compliance risks

What We're Looking For

• Experience with Avalara
• Background in tax compliance, accounting, or finance operations
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with repetitive or high‑volume tasks
• Confident working with spreadsheets and ERP systems
• Ability to follow established processes and work independently

Preferred Experience

• Sales tax exemption certificate management
• Post‑implementation system cleanup or data maintenance
• Support experience within corporate Tax or Finance teams
