What are the responsibilities and job description for the Counter Sales position at Lee Supply Corp?
The HVAC/Plumbing Counter Salesman will work cooperatively with outside sales representatives and other members of the distribution team to provide service to existing customers, generate new customers, and meet or exceed monthly sales quotas while increasing overall customer satisfaction.
Job Duties:
- Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions
- Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information in a timely manner
- Accurately process customer transactions such as orders, quotes, and returns
- Educate customers about terminology, features, and benefits of products
- Present price, credit and terms in accordance with standard procedures
- Manage time effectively, meet personal goals, and work effectively with other members of the distribution team
- Maintain proficiency in data entry, computerized systems, and other technologies as required
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 3-6 years HVAC or Plumbing experience
- Experience with ICP products a plus
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Detail oriented and ability to work independently
- Ability to lift 35 lbs

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
