POSITION SUMMARY
JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for the Mechanical Maintenance operations on an assigned shift to ensure that all equipment is operating effectively and to assist department manager with personnel issues.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Has the ability to perform all functions of supervised positions.
- Supervises maintenance personnel on assigned shifts.
- Assigns duties and responsibilities to staff.
- Maintains electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems to ensure that they remain in working order.
- Responsible for maintaining physical building including structure and cosmetic.
- Understands and enforces all applicable rules and regulations pertaining to the department.
- Keeps staff informed of marketing promotions and events, changes to policy, procedures and other necessary information.
- Informs supervisor of shift activity by maintaining operational and employee records.
- Makes recommendations regarding personnel issues to the department Manager.
- Assists department personnel with job duties and responsibilities as necessary.
- Maintains knowledge of all events in the property as a whole.
- Attends and/or facilitates all mandatory meetings and training.
- Maintains confidentiality at all times.
- Is sensitive to Native American Culture.
- Operates within the parameters of the Leech Lake Gaming Human Resource Policy, Departmental Policy Manual and all Tribal Internal Controls (TICs), and all other applicable regulations.
- Secures the assets of Leech Lake Gaming and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Salary : $43,300 - $54,900
