Summary of Job:
Helpers assist the Electrical staff with planning, diagramming and implementing electrical systems. Performs tasks involving physical labor at construction sites. May operate hand and power tools of all types. May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches with shovel, set braces to support the sides of excavations, climbing and working on a ladder, clean up debris and other waste materials.Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalency preferred
- 0-1 years experience in commercial/industrial electrical work
- Experience with electrical work a plus
Skills and Abilities:
- Should have a working knowledge of an electrical system in a new construction setting
- Ability to lift, push, pull and move moderately heavy objects
- Ability to ascend/ descend ladders
