RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accurately and efficiently maintains order records in the JD Edwards Operating system.
- Demonstrates strong multitasking abilities, successfully completing all work assignments even amidst constant interruptions, with a primary focus on order entry.
- Strives to provide customers with "World Class Service" and offers additional follow-up when necessary to address any inquiries related to order entries.
- Works diligently to establish effective working relationships with customers, aiming to enhance their shopping experience with the Leer Group and strengthen all product lines within the Leer Family brand in the market.
- Takes a proactive approach by communicating the daily incoming order total along with an estimated completion timeline to the Customer Service Manager.
- Provides recommendations to the Customer Service Manager regarding any required overtime hours to meet data entry goals, always considering advanced authorization.
- Possesses self-motivation, practical focus, and the ability to work independently.
- Offers support to both customer service and sales teams to ensure the delivery of "world-class customer service."
- Assists with various administrative tasks related to the customer database.
- Maintains and updates orders, documenting notes and conversations with customers, sales staff, and internal contacts to ensure visibility within the department/business unit.
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, including professional presentation and effective time management.
- Performs any other duties as assigned or deemed necessary.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Customer service-focused with good phone skills and a positive attitude.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and related software as well as other accounting software programs. JDE experience is a plus.
- Ability to operate related office equipment, such as computers, 10-key calculator, and copier.
- Ability to work independently and in a challenging environment.
- Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexible work schedule with possible overtime requirements.

- High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred. Specific industry product knowledge a plus.
