What are the responsibilities and job description for the Arcade Technician position at Lefty's Alley & Eats?

Lefty’s Alley & Eats Game Technician is responsible for the day-to-day operations of our game room, as well as maintaining games for peak performance during operating hours. The game technician should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an arcade or game room setting.

  • Perform repairs on games: Explains operation of games to Guests.
  • Continued inventory of electronics, game parts, tools etc.
  • Proper documentation of game issues, parts, and work history.
  • Must be able to work alone and be a self-starter.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all aspects of the games, simulators, and attractions.
  • Possess comfort with AV systems including movie sound, mobile video, projectors, and control systems.
  • Must be able to use/read a volt/ohmmeter and a soldering gun.
  • Must be able to read schematics.
  • Stocks and maintains inventory of all prize games.
  • Basic knowledge of computers systems and some general point of sale operations.
  • Rudimentary knowledge of troubleshooting computer hardware and computer peripherals.
  • Ensures all games are clean and presentable to guest.
  • Observe, instruct, and monitor Guests for safety and guideline adherence.
  • Assist with Guest recovery and notifies manager to ensure positive Guest experiences.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally while interacting enthusiastically with Guests and fellow co-workers.
  • Work as a team player in meeting guests needs, and actively contributes to the efforts of other departments.
  • Attend all required department and company meetings and training sessions.
  • Knowledgeable of facility emergency procedures.
  • Adhere to proper uniform guidelines according to Andretti Indoor Karting and Games.
  • Display excellent communication skills.
  • Show eagerness to learn new skills and trades.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
