Looking for a new Homemaker/Personal Care agency to call home for the long term?
Legacy Caregivers is hiring DSP's to provide Direct Care services in both congregate home settings and on an individual basis. We have a multitude of client profiles to serve. Looking for a well-rounded and versatile caregiver to serve one or all of the following categories:
- Total Care (Bathing, toileting, lifting, changing)
- High Functioning, Mild Behaviors
- Intense Behavioral Needs
SHIFTS
- Morning
- Afternoon (HIGH NEED)
- Night (LOW NEED)
PAY STRUCTURE
Wages can range depending on applicant credentials, experience, and capabilities.
- Minimum Pay: $14/hr, no experience required. Sleep time is paid at $10.45/hr for all staff.
- Additional $1/Hr available after being with agency for 1 year for full timers.
- 40hrs/year PTO starts accruing immediately upon hire for all staff.
- Health insurance through Aultcare at 50% match.

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
Direct Support Professionals are the lifeblood of our agency. To be a Legacy DSP means exuding the highest level of professionalism and compassion as you interact and meet the needs of the clients we serve.
Duties can include:
- General supervision of clients
- Taking clients in community to run errands or for leisure
- Cooking and cleaning
- Behavior redirection and emotional regulation
- Bathing, toileting, and changing clients
- Helping clients work towards pre-determined goals and outcomes
- Documentation of care services
- Medication administration
