A background in neuroscience or related discipline is preferred. At least 3 years’ experience working with rodent behavior and conducting rodent surgeries is also preferred for this position. Some experience with molecular biology techniques.
Responsibilities
A Post-Doctoral Research Fellow is an MD or Ph.D. in a scientific discipline. Post-Doctoral Research Fellows may provide clinical and/or scientific services, according to their level of responsibility, under the supervision of the Principal Investigator with the common goal of accelerating the development of new technologies and treatments in assigned area.
Qualifications
Education: MD or Ph.D. in a scientific discipline. At a minimum the individual must have documentation they have completed all of the course work, research, and thesis preparation and acceptance necessary to receive their degree. This recognizes that granting institutions (universities) only present degrees on a periodic schedule.
Skills: Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently.
