What You’ll Do
As the HCHB Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and supporting all information systems including Homecare Homebase (HCHB), patient care platforms, and general office systems. This role involves:
- Overseeing daily HCHB operations and ensuring efficient, secure system performance
- Implementing and maintaining HIPAA-compliant policies and user controls
- Collaborating with leadership to evaluate system needs, vendor contracts, and future enhancements
- Supporting integration between software systems for seamless data flow
- Managing system backups, audits, and ticket resolution for multiple locations
- Leading strategic initiatives to improve workflow and data security
- Serving as the primary liaison with technical vendors
- Training staff and supporting software rollouts across departments
- Providing technical support and guidance to ensure system integrity and performance
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field (preferred)
- 3–5 years of experience in healthcare information systems management (hospice experience strongly preferred)
- Working knowledge of Homecare Homebase, ADP, DUO, MedBridge, and Microsoft Office 365
- Strong understanding of system privacy, HIPAA, and Medicare Conditions of Participation
- Experience supporting both onsite and remote/hybrid teams
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and personal vehicle insurance
