What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hospice Liaison Lima Legacy Hospice position at Legacy Hospice?
Position Summary:
A Hospice Liaison is responsible for developing, maintaining, and growing a network of repeat referral sources within an assigned territory. Referral sources will include hospitals, physicians, nursing homes, assisted living communities, and other prospects and accounts as assigned. Responsible for achieving sales goals as assigned.
Position Responsibilities for a Liaison for Legacy Hospice:
Sales Expectations:
* Provide clinical communication through various tools to physicians, hospital staff, clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
* Prepare and maintain referral target list.
* Meet or exceed set number of sales calls and events to achieve census goals.
* Meet or exceed set number of monthly referral goals.
* Pre-call planning, outcomes and next steps needed to achieve desired outcome of all sales calls.
* Effectively communicate core selling message to identified referral targets.
* Effectively and compassionately communicate with family members and potential clients.
* Communicate regularly with Regional Director of Business Development and Director of Hospice.
Marketing Expectations:
* Prepare, maintain, and execute strategic marketing plans.
* Manage marketing budget and Return on Investment on all marketing-related expenses.
* Coordinates and implements events, media, networking activities and promotional programs.
* Understand market conditions and opportunities to grow census and revenue.
* Profile the strengths and weaknesses of competitors within the assigned territory.
* Communicates and works with Regional Director of Business Development on all marketing campaigns to maximize the overall Return of Investment.
* Coordinate all social media campaigns to align with overall marketing strategy.
Customer Service Expectations:
* Identify opportunities to enhance customer service and patient /family satisfaction.
* Communicate with admission team on leads and potential admissions/starts of care.
* Communicate with family members as needed, provide follow-up, and helpful resources.
* Enhance the care continuum through streamlining the admission and discharge process.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Health Sciences related field preferred. Minimum of three (3) years’ sales experience, preferably in a service industry. Familiarity with general health care concepts and terminology. Knowledge/experience of hospice care strongly preferred.
