Summary :
The Construction Field Engineer will be responsible for assisting the General Superintendent with management of development projects from permitting to close-out. This energetic and self-motivated person will work with a diverse team of hoteliers, restaurateurs, designers, engineers, and construction personnel to manage the development process on multiple renovation / adaptive reuse and ground-up construction projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following :
- Work with Legacy team and outside professionals to plan projects to include scope refinement, contractor and vendor solicitation, budgeting, and scheduling
- Act as a crucial link between the project management team, General Superintendent and trade partners to ensure a successful project
- Monitor project budget and schedule
- Track regulatory permit application and approval processes
- Supervise field construction operators, direct employees and subcontractors
- Maintain a record set of project plans and specifications
- Monitor, document and report on project progress
- Use Daily logs to document project activities and issues
- Solve issues that arise including anticipated budget and schedule variances
- Ensure project quality and stakeholder satisfaction
- Document project close out
- Manage project warranty response
Qualifications
