JOB DESCRIPTION*
Summary/Objective
Establish, expand and maintain customer relationships by providing above and beyond service, focused on the specific needs of each individual and business banking customer. This individual will build long-lasting relationships while ensuring that we serve as the customer’s primary bank. They will promote the full range of the Bank's deposit products and lending services, referring individuals to the appropriate team member when necessary.

  • Exhibit full competency of Teller/Frontline Duties - negotiating checks, loan payments, deposits, and other transactions in an efficient and accurate manner.
  • Actively market bank products and services to customers, as well as prospective customers.
  • Demonstrate solid working knowledge of bank products, services, policies and procedures.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities through, referring customers to appropriate areas within the Bank to optimize their financial relationship.
  • Assist customers with address changes, contact information updates, check orders, debit card issuance and maintenance, and online access setup and resets.
  • Open and process new demand and time deposit accounts, including checking accounts – both business and personal, savings accounts, certificate of deposits, and safe deposit boxes.
  • Provide consumer and business customers with information on accounts, rates, service charges, restrictions and other relevant account information.
  • Follow established procedures for new accounts, ensuring that appropriate documentation has been submitted.
  • Handle customer inquiries in an efficient and service-driven manner, whether by phone, main or in-person.
  • Maintain awareness of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role.
  • Take initiative in developing brand awareness through continued relationship building with Top 100 working with the Branch Manager and Loan Team to strategically schedule visits with current and prospective customers.
  • Exhibit interpersonal and communication skills, providing an environment of open and authentic communication.
  • Adhere to all Legence Bank and AFMFS Hoopla standards, serving as an example to other team members, as well as to our customers.
  • Represent and promote the Company within the community, working with the Marketing Department and the Branch Manager in coordinating the branch’s events.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including, but not limited to, computers, fax machines, scanning equipment.
Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
The employee must be available during the "core" work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Fridays, and 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for a minimum of two Saturdays per month. Part-Time Team Members will not work more than 30.00 hours in a given week.
Travel
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
Required Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 1 year Current Banking Experience

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Able to quickly learn new software
  • Valid Driver’s License
