Food Runner Busser

JOB SUMMARY:

At Legends Bar & Grill, we pride ourselves on delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests. As a Food Runner/ Busser, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of service and ensuring that every guest leaves with a smile. Your primary responsibility will be to assist servers and bartenders by running orders, serving plates, glasses, and silverware, refilling beverages, and clearing tables. • Ability to understand and follow verbal/written instructions and communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude during all interactions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Assist all guests in a professional and courteous manner.
• Perform job duties and responsibilities in a cost-effective manner and within budgetary guidelines.
• Prepare dining areas before guests are seated.
• Decorate tables with napkins, linens, or items in a uniform manner as directed.
• Place tableware and condiments on tables in preparation for guests, handling them carefully to prevent breakage and loss.
• Serve water and refill beverages as needed and in a timely manner. Assist servers as needed to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Remove used plates, glasses, tableware, and napkins from tables when guests are finished.
• Deliver used items to the work area and/or kitchen for cleaning.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and appropriately stocked work area.
• Thoroughly complete any assigned set-up, side work, or closing duties.
• Communicate effectively with management and associates through daily communication and attend required meetings.
• Understand and apply all facility safety and security procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment for associates and guests.
• Keep the supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance so prompt corrective action can be taken.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Legends offers compensation of $14 per hour for this position and a flexible schedule. This role will include nights and weekends

Benefits include Minnesota Earned Sick and Safe Time (MN ESST) and 401K upon meeting requirements.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS ANALYSIS:

This position works primarily indoors in a fast paced and loud environment. This position requires continuous standing and walking, and frequent lifting, carrying, bending and reaching throughout entire shift. Hazards may include, but are not limited to, slipping and tripping, working with sharp objects, frequent exposure to water, heat, humidity, standard cleaning chemicals and hot surfaces/appliances. All Food & Beverage department associates are required to wear rubber-sled, non-slip footwear and must follow proper safety precautions at all times to avoid injuries.
