JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for greeting and welcoming all guests in a sincere, professional and friendly manner. Parks and retrieves guests’ vehicles within the guidelines of established policy, procedure and service standards.

  • Greets and welcomes guests exceeding the established service standards.
  • Moves with a sense of urgency when approaching guests’ vehicles to park or retrieve.
  • Obeys all applicable traffic rules on property and on public roads.
  • Carefully and accurately administers the ticketing process, issuance of claim check and other applicable pieces that accompany the vehicle and vehicle keys.
  • Conducts thorough vehicle inspections and identifies prior damage that is visible to the naked eye.
  • Operates guests’ vehicles obeying traffic rules.
  • Verifies claim tickets thoroughly prior to delivering guests’ vehicles.
  • Offers directions additional assistance and a warm farewell.
  • Exhibits passion for the hospitality and gaming experience of our guests.
  • Takes personal responsibility for delivering an excellent guest experience.
  • Knows the overall property, the gaming offerings, and their locations.
  • Builds relationships inside and outside of their department / team to improve ways of working and provide a great guest experience.
  • Models for the team, a strong work ethic and is visible, available and present for the guest and their team.
  • Identifies ways to improve workflows and processes to work smarter and increase efficiency.
  • Proactively shares guest feedback with executive management and peers in the spirit of continuous improvement.
  • Seeks to share and improve processes and workflows based on guest feedback.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:



SUPERVISION EXCERCISED: None.


LICENSE REQUIRED: Must obtain and hold a Class II gaming license while employed and complete an annual background check with TGA.


EXTENT OF JOB AUTHORITY: Interacts effectively with the guests and fellow team members. Provides excellent guest service at all times. Responsible for safely and efficiently parking and retrieving the guests’ vehicles while paying utmost care and attention to ensure vehicles and personal belongings are intact and safely secured.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED FOR POSITION: High School Diploma or GED preferred. Up to three months of related experience or training preferred. Prior experience in Valet is preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Occasionally required to climb or balance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Regularly exposed to all weather conditions within our geography. Exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions. Occasionally exposed to secondhand smoke. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

SPECIFIC SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR POSITION: Must be enthusiastic, energetic, personable, friendly, as well as passionate and knowledgeable. Must present a driver’s abstract to Human Resources prior to employment and must maintain a clean driving record during the length of employment. Must be able to operate a standard transmission and pass Legends Casino Hotel internal driving test. Must have exceptional guest service skills. Must have effective communication skills both written and orally.
