Leidos is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Warehouse Specialist to support daily warehouse operations within a government-regulated logistics environment in Orlando, FL. This full-time, on-site role involves hands-on material handling as well as coordination of workflow, inventory management, and compliance tracking. The ideal candidate will bring prior experience in warehouse logistics and demonstrate strong organizational and system skills. This position is 100% on-site in Orlando and requires physical activity, including lifting, bending, and standing throughout the workday. It involves working around warehouse equipment in a fast-paced, compliance-focused environment. Primary Responsibilities: Manage daily warehouse workflow including material receipt and inspection, hardware marking, DCMA inspections, bonded storage handling, and outbound shipping. Track and receive incoming materials; perform goods receipt against purchase orders using internal inventory systems. Conduct regular inventory validations and cycle counts to ensure data accuracy and inventory visibility. Utilize Costpoint and other logistics systems for data entry, transaction processing, and shipment documentation. Operate pallet jacks and forklifts (must be able to obtain certification after selection; training provided by Leidos). Prepare, package, and ship completed kits per project or customer specifications, including application of MIL-STD and hardware marking labels. Track and resolve frustrated shipments, working with internal and external partners to ensure timely resolution and delivery. Support Government inspections (DCMA) and ensure materials are compliant with regulatory and contractual standards, including timely entries in WAWF (Wide Area Workflow). Assist with property accountability and asset tracking using customized software tools. Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant warehouse environment. Basic Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. 2 years of warehouse or logistics experience, preferably in a government or defense contracting environment. US Citizenship. Ability to obtain forklift certification after selection (training provided). Proficiency with basic computer applications and logistics systems (e.g., data entry, email, label creation). Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs. regularly. Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills. Experience with standard material handling processes and equipment, including operating a forklift and pallet jack. Experience reconciling inventory for tracking, monitoring, and shipping. Experience preparing and packaging completed kits. Preferred Qualifications: Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET security clearance. Current forklift certification. Experience with Costpoint, WAWF, or similar enterprise logistics and compliance systems. Familiarity with bonded storage procedures and frustrated shipment resolution. Working knowledge of MIL-STD labeling/packaging and DCMA inspection protocols. Prior experience supporting Government property control or DoD logistics requirements.
