The Network Infrastructure Manager will spearhead a dedicated team focused on maintaining, designing, and implementing robust network infrastructure. This role is essential in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of organizational networks while aligning with overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure components, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
Oversee organization-wide multi-site computer networks, ensuring optimal performance and connectivity.
Deploy and maintain VoIP systems to enhance organizational communication.
Continuously monitor network performance, security, and availability; troubleshoot issues promptly.
Implement robust network security measures, such as firewalls, access control lists, and VPNs.
Manage and uphold thorough network disaster recovery plans.
Plan and execute network hardware and software upgrades to keep systems current.
Collaborate with various IT teams to ensure seamless system integration across the organization.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the networking field.
Mentor and guide junior network administrators, fostering their professional growth.
Qualifications :
Education : A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field along with 8 years of relevant experience.
Experience : At least 8 years in network administration and management, with a strong track record in troubleshooting and maintaining hardware / software across Microsoft, Linux, and Cisco platforms.
Technical Knowledge : In-depth understanding of network protocols (TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) and ability to design and support Cisco wireless systems (ISE, Prime) is essential. Proficiency in Cisco Nexus OS, Cisco IOS, and Cisco routing protocols is required.
Communication Skills : Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Attention to Detail : Strong attention to detail, ensuring precise execution of routine tasks and maintenance of documentation.
Time Management : Proven time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
Problem Solving : Solid problem-solving capabilities to identify and address complex technical issues efficiently.
Certifications : Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA A , CompTIA Network , Cisco, VMWare, or Microsoft certifications are highly desirable.
Leadership : Strong leadership capabilities with a proven ability to mentor and train junior team members.
