Primary Responsibilities
As a Project Manager Associate Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects for our New Construction Services programs. You will work closely with project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet the highest quality standards. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in project management while contributing to the success of real-world projects.

Job Responsibilities
- Work with New Construction program customers to facilitate their participation in the program
- Communicate technical issues across the project team.
- Organize and participate in public outreach events for the On-Street EV Charging Solutions Program
- Support EV site assessments with participating municipalities within the On-Street Charging Solutions Program
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate communication and collaboration.
- Maintain project documentation and status reports utilizing CRM.
- Assist in quality assurance processes to ensure deliverables meet specified standards.
- Support special projects that may include programs that involve the WELL Building Standard, assessing renewable energy, battery storage and solar opportunities in the commercial and public building space.
- Provide insights and suggestions for process improvements based on internship experiences
- Position may require performing utility pre and post installation inspections from time to time
- Candidate must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing a degree in Business, Engineering or Environmental and Sustainability Science and experience in project management related activities or work.
- The ability and desire to be: productive, accurate, and organized.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and statistical knowledge and skills using Excel.
- This position requires a valid driver’s license and physical ability to perform field verification of pre and post installation of energy efficiency measures.
- Must have a car or access to a car to attend public outreach events
- Ability to be self-starting—demonstrate initiative---including the ability to collaborate well in a supportive team environment.
- Familiarity with Electric Vehicle and Energy Efficiency program design and delivery
- Experience working in teams
- Excellent computer and communication skills
- Familiarity with MS Teams, Sharepoint and CRMs such as SalesForce
- Ideally a part time student or full time with the availability to work 10-18 hours per week during the school year and potentially more in the summer and breaks
