Activity Director Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a diverse monthly activity calendar tailored to resident interests and needs
- Supervise, train, and schedule activity staff and volunteers
- Coordinate group programs, individual activities, and special events
- Maintain accurate records of participation and activity outcomes
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding recreational services
- Collaborate with nursing, social services, and dietary departments to enhance resident care

Activity Director Qualifications:
- Certified Activity Director (or eligible for certification per state regulations)
- Experience working in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Passion for working with the elderly and creating a vibrant community environment
