JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
THIS POSITION IS GENDER SPECIFIC
SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Works under the direction of the Drug Testing Facility Coordinator
SUPERVISION EXERCISED: None
TYPICAL EXAMPLES OF WORK: An employee in this class may be called upon to do any or all of the following: (these examples do not include all of the tasks which an employee may be expected to perform).
Currently takes Health Screening on clients before they enter the office
Upon client's arrival asks for ID, color card (if applicable) and accurately logs information on log sheet and label that is placed on specimen cup.
Collects money, if applicable.
Observes client providing sample - same gender.
Collects samples according to Michigan Association of Treatment Court Professionals
Will be required to enter client screening results into Microsoft Word/Excel
May be required to testify in a court of law regarding job duties and Chain of Custody
Responsible for completing Chain of Custody forms in front of clients.
An employee in this class, upon appointment, should had the equivalent of the following training and experience.
High school graduate or its equivalent.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
Training will be provided by Coordinator or other Monitors.
