Job Overview:

The Tecumseh Public Schools district is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join its team as a GSRP Assistant Teacher. This role plays a vital part in providing a nurturing and supportive environment for young children, fostering their growth and development.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement engaging activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development in children.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with parents, caregivers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a comprehensive and inclusive learning environment that caters to diverse needs and abilities.
• Maintain accurate records of children's progress, observations, and data collection.
• Participate in regular staff meetings, training sessions, and events to stay updated on best practices and policies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or CDA certification.
• High moral character, integrity, and strong interpersonal communication skills.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Experience working with young children in a licensed daycare/preschool program.
