Summary
The Continuous Improvement (CI) Intern supports initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, and AI‑enabled transformation across the Retention & Care and Inbound Sales organizations. This role assists in analyzing processes, documenting improvements, supporting small-scale change requests, and helping develop AI-assisted solutions that streamline internal workflows.
The intern may work closely with cross‑functional partners including Information Technology, Data & AI, Customer Success Operations, Marketing, Legal, and Regulatory teams. Key Responsibilities
Process Improvement & Analysis
- Support assessment of business rules, workflows, and process changes impacting Customer Care and Sales operations.
- Assist in identifying process improvement opportunities that drive operational efficiency or enhance customer experience.
- Conduct data gathering and basic analysis to support business cases or improvement recommendations.
- Assist in drafting process documentation, end‑user guides, and workflow step actions.
- Participate in testing system or process changes and help document test results.
- Update knowledge articles and internal communications related to implemented improvements.
- Support CI Analysts in coordinating with IT, Training, and operational teams for small improvement initiatives.
- Attend cross‑functional meetings to observe how business requirements are developed, communicated, and implemented.
- Help collect and organize feedback from stakeholders during evaluation of process changes.
- Assist in identifying opportunities for AI automation, insights, or workflow augmentation.
- Help gather requirements or user stories for simple AI‑enabled tools (e.g., knowledge assistants, automated reporting, workflow prompts).
- Support basic testing, documentation, and rollout steps for AI-driven improvements.
- Help track project tasks, timelines, and deliverables for small process or system changes.
- Support preparation of presentations, reports, and status updates for leadership and project teams.
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong interest in process improvement, operational efficiency, customer experience, or AI transformation.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); basic Excel analysis skills preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple small tasks simultaneously.
- Curious, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Exposure to business analysis, operations, or data analytics coursework.
- Familiarity with process mapping tools (Visio, Miro, Lucidchart) is a plus.
- Interest in AI technologies such as automation, natural language tools, or workflow augmentation (no coding required).
- Basic understanding of project management principles.
- Problem Solving: Ability to approach problems with curiosity and analytical thinking.
