What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Maintenance Tech position at Leprino Foods?
For our future state-of-the art 600 person Lubbock, TX cheese and whey manufacturing facility, Leprino is seeking aFacilities Maintenance Tech. We take pride in our vision to be the "world's best," it's why we work harder, invest more, and continually innovate.
Leprino Foods broke ground on the $1 Billion facility in the summer of 2022. The plant will be operation in 2024 with Phase 1 and will become fully operational by 2026 with Phase 2. You will play a crucial role in creating a healthy work environment for our employees, thereby fostering positive working relationships and teamwork.
Job Duties Include:
- Uses equipment for inside work including hand and power tools.
- Supports other departments with the repair and operations of inter-departmental tools and equipment.
- Follows all Company safety procedures.
- Uses equipment for outside work including lawn mowers, weed trimmers, power rakes, aeration equipment, tree trimmers, power blowers, power hedge trimmers, snow removal equipment, and miscellaneous hand tools.
- Follow all Company safety procedures.
- Performs equipment mechanical repairs and conducts preventive maintenance to all machines and tools used for both indoor and outdoor functions.
- Assists other departments with mechanical repairs and attends to enquiries on operations of various tools and equipment.
- Follows all Company safety procedures.
You Must Have (Minimum Qualifications & Experience):
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance and landscape or grounds maintenance work
- Valid Texas driver's license required
