What are the responsibilities and job description for the Packaging Associate - Stellar Manufacturing position at Leslie's Poolmart, Inc.?

Responsibilities: Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned
- Pulls finished goods off the conveyor belt to fill boxes, cartons and pails following packing instructions on bill of material. Runs job per instructions and asks questions if instructions are not clear.
- Visually inspects finished goods and removes broken or damaged product.
- Visually inspects each container for print color, package quality, wrapper quality and printing quality.
- Performs a count or weighs each carton, container or pallet to ensure the proper amount and product is packaged, places product literature in container, closes and seals container and places container on pallet or in staging area.
- Operates a casing machine to seal containers, shrink wrap machine to wrap pallets and regrind mill.
- Record information such as weight, time, date and completes identification tickets.
- Understands plant labeling requirements and sees that all chemicals are properly labeled and managed.
Qualifications:
- Drug screen required.
- Chemical Manufacturing Industry experience preferred
- Must be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds
- diploma is preferred.
Hours:
- 1st Shift - Mon-Thurs from 5:15am to 3:45pm
- 2nd Shift - Mon-Thurs from 3:15pm to 1:45am
