At Let’s Play Music, we teach private and group lessons to all ages on all instruments and voice and provide a fun and encouraging musical community with an array of programming and performance opportunities available to all students.
Position Overview:
As a Part-Time Private Music Instructor, you will have the opportunity to work one-on-one with students to develop their musical abilities and foster their passion for music. Our ideal candidate is not only an accomplished musician but also a patient and engaging teacher who can tailor lessons to meet the individual needs and goals of each student.
Responsibilities:
· Provide one-on-one music instruction to students of all ages.
· Teach fundamental music theory, technique, and repertoire appropriate to the student's level.
· Foster a supportive and encouraging learning environment that inspires creativity and musical expression.
· Communicate effectively with students and their families regarding progress, goals, and involvement in studio programming
Qualifications:
· Instructor must be able to work with kids and adults and make learning fun!
· Proficiency in one or more musical instruments or vocal performance.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Patience, empathy, and a passion for teaching and mentoring others.
· Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to maintaining a consistent schedule.
Schedule:
This is a part-time position ranging from 1-5 days per week, typically including after-school, evenings, and weekend hours. The exact schedule will be determined based on instructor availability and student demand.
