POSITION OBJECTIVE


Perform inspection, assembly, and testing of electric cable connectors (Motor Lead Extensions)


ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Comply with all applicable US laws and regulations
  • Comply with Levare US HSE Policies and HSE Procedures
  • Follow assembly procedures to produce quality products
  • Diagnose mechanical problems and make repairs
  • Visually inspect internal and external components
  • Test all electric cable connectors
  • Pull, measure and cut cable to length on cable-cutting machine
  • Work effectively with all employees and be a team player
  • Follow procedures and complete tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Perform on the job training as needed
  • Comply with Levare Quality Assurance Policy and all requirements of the Quality Assurance Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions
  • Personally observe safety and security procedures and proper use of equipment and material. Actively promote safety process and report any safety issues to proper channels for action.

Required Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience: One year shop and/or assembly experience preferred

Training: Training is specific to assigned product line duties.

Skills:

Ability to follow the company's IMS (in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001) policies and procedures at all times

Ability to read engineering blueprints, drawings and work instructions

Proficient computer skills with knowledge of MS Office and Company specific systems and databases

Strong attention to detail

Good problem solving and analytical skills

Strong customer focus with good communication, interpersonal, and team working skills

Solid technical / mechanical skills

Ability to operate forklift and loader

Use of hand and power tools

Use and read basic measuring tools

Ability to perform basic math

Knowledge of equipment types and components

Knowledge of practices and procedures

Experience with mechanical problem diagnosis and repair work

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:

Continuously required to move about the facility

Physical ability to respond to emergency situations

Standing periodically for long periods of time

Pushing, pulling and lifting items up to 50 lbs.

Work is performed in both a controlled & uncontrolled climate environment

Occasional travel and on call required

Use of personal protective equipment is mandatory

This is a safety sensitive position
