What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Business Development Manager position at Level Up Automation?
JOB SUMMARY: The primary focus of the Business Development Manager (BDM) will be to 1) generate new trade partnerships and 2) develop new direct customer leads. In this role, you will seek opportunities through networking and marketing to bring awareness to and drive the Level Up Automation brand in the assigned market(s). Additionally, you will drive towards closed sales by providing professional consultations for all Level Up customers, discerning their immediate needs as well as future needs utilizing a thorough needs assessment. By showing your passion for technology and your knowledge of the many products we offer, you will inspire customers to trust Level Up Automation to service their homes and businesses. You will skillfully uncover the customer needs and identify the best solutions. You will be curious about products, initiatives, and engagements and agile in applying the learning. You will bring customers closer to (Level Up) Brand advocacy with enthusiasm, ideas and demonstrations that enhance the customer experience. The BDM will utilize a wide array of tools, tactics, and networks to learn about the products, provide information, close sales, and in many instances, set up/install products.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Provides immediate response to qualified leads, ensuring customers are the priority and receive attention within 24 business hours of inquiring about our services
· Demonstrates passion, enthusiasm, drive, and confidence to succeed
· Develops trade partnerships with emphasis on cultivating new Builder relationships
· Increases customer base through building customer relationships and active participation in personal trade and networking activities
· Maintains a positive approach and willingness to participate in all product trainings and certifications to continually enhance effectiveness and customer experience
· Transfers value by recommending products based on benefits, not merely technical features
· Utilizes the sales tools and techniques provided by Level Up Automation in their engagement strategy
· Participates in a local BNI group (see job specifications below)
· Always maintains a professional image ensuring uniforms, personal hygiene, and appearance are in adherence to our professional appearance guidelines

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
· Reports to Business Owner
· Achieves sales goals as specified
· Holds and maintains a “green” status chair at a determined BNI for the purpose of cultivating leads from current trade partners
o Developing trade relationships that will lead to additional referrals.
o Attending events to represent LUAF (grand openings / open houses / BNI events)
· Flexibility with schedule, as hours worked will be based on the needs of the customer
· Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
· High School Diploma or country equivalent
· Must meet country requirements for eligibility to work
· Minimum 2-years related experience
· Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Google Workspace, and internet savvy
· Demonstrated ability to multi-task and balance numerous priorities in a fast-paced technical environment
