Job Summary
We’re seeking a visually savvy and trend-aware Merchandising & Product Development Manager to grow the sourcing and creative development of our framed print collections. The ideal candidate is passionate about art and interiors and excels at identifying trends and collaborating with artists to bring them to life. Your core responsibility will be to source and manage licensed and contracted artists whose work aligns with our brand’s vision and market needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and evaluate artists and artwork to build collections that align with brand aesthetic and business goals.
- Translate home décor and interior design trends into commercially successful art collections.
- Direct and brief artists to create trend-driven art tailored for our product lines.
- Develop product assortments that balance design, price point, and production requirements.
- Manage SKU planning, line development, and visual merchandising strategies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with design, sales, and production teams.
- Support showroom merchandising, seasonal launches, and trade show presentations.
- Monitor competitive landscape and identify new opportunities for growth.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in merchandising, product development, or sourcing within the home furnishings, accessories, or art industries
- Proven success in working with artists and managing creative direction
- In-depth understanding of trend forecasting, interior design aesthetics, and consumer preferences
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with minimal oversight
- Strong creative sensibility and commercial acumen
Preferred Qualifications
- Established network of artists, licensors, or art sourcing contacts
- Knowledge of framed art production, digital printing, and licensing
- Experience in showroom merchandising or B2B product presentations
- Fine Art Painter and/or Digital Fine Artist background preferred
