What are the responsibilities and job description for the Armed Security Officer position at LEW & Associates Inc. Security Services?
We are looking for Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) Registered Armed Security Officers to undertake the surveillance of our premises and protection of our staff and visitors.

The goal is to help the company in maintaining excellent working conditions by keeping our facilities safe.
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Hours: Various hours
Duties:
Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general security duties to our client
Interact with a variety of persons including visitors, employees and the general public
Following post instructions specific to the client
Promoting safety by being alert to observe, correct and report any hazards
Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service and have the ability to maintain positive interactions among a variety of persons including visitors, staff members, co-workers, public safety personnel and the general public
Maintain visibility to ensure safety and deter unacceptable activities
Staying at your post until your replacement has arrived
Observe and report safety hazards and medical emergencies
Present oneself in a professional manner through appearance and conduct
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Current DCJS Private Security Registration required
Proven experience as a security officer
Ability to de-escalate situations in a positive manner
Must have reliable transportation
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
Must maintain knowledge of company’s policies and procedures
Must be able to adapt swiftly to changes in protocols
