Contract Attorney (Litigation)
Location : Remote - California
Pay Rate : Up to $100 per hour
Job Type : Full-Time, Remote, Contract Assignment
LHH is seeking a skilled Contract Attorney to join a dynamic legal team in a remote capacity. This position is a 6-month assignment, offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Litigation Attorney to contribute to challenging legal cases. The Contract Attorney role offers an excellent opportunity to work on diverse and engaging litigation cases within a supportive legal environment. The candidate must be well-versed in various aspects of litigation, showcasing a proactive and detail-oriented approach to their work.
Responsibilities :
Drafting various legal motions and discovery requests, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal standards.
Preparing for depositions, conducting deposition prep sessions, and providing support during the deposition process.
Writing detailed memos and briefs to communicate legal analysis effectively.
Conducting in-depth legal research on case-related matters, statutes, and relevant laws / motions.
Assisting with trial preparation and contributing to the overall litigation strategy.
Collaborating with internal teams, providing legal guidance, and assisting with case management.
Qualifications :
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in the state of California. Must live in the state of California.
Proven experience as a Litigation Attorney, with a focus on drafting motions, conducting discovery, and legal research.
Strong familiarity with the rules of civil litigation and court procedures.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently, managing multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
Pay Details : $80.00 to $100.00 per hour
