What are the responsibilities and job description for the English Teacher position at Liahona Academy for Youth?
English - High School Level
Monday - Friday 1:00 pm-6:00 pm
Current Teachers Certification is preferred but no required
Holidays off: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years.
*Full-time is available, but you will need to become a staff memeber after 6:00pm.
Responsibilities
-Provide care, safety, and security for students
-Nonviolent Positive Control techniques
-First Aid and CPR
-Teach/Tutor Science to our students
-Grade Papers
-All Lesson Plans are provided
Requirements
-Must be 18 years of age
-High school Diploma/GED
-Clearance of a background check and drug screening
Liahona Treatment Center is known by educational consultants and other behavioral/mental health professionals as a premier residential treatment center for troubled boys.
Both Facilities are located in Hurricane Utah.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
