Certification Required: At least 48 College Hours or Passed Para Pro Test, CPI trained when available
Job Description: Assist students with special needs to maximize learning and achievement, assist professional staff in the administration of classroom exercises and assessments, assist with record keeping, assist with classroom behavioral management to minimize disruptions, ensure a safe and orderly environment, prepare educational materials as needed, follow all applicable safety rules, procedures, and regulations governing the proper manner of assistance for all students, maintain confidentiality, assist with fostering independence, socialization, and self esteem of all students, including supporting self care when applicable.
