What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Technician position at Liberty Falls Veterinary Clinic?
Liberty Falls Veterinary Clinic is seeking an Experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team. We prefer Applicants to have at least two years tech experience but we are willing to train the right individual.
We are a family forward small animal practice in the heart of Potomac, MD.
LFVC offers a competitive starting hourly wage based on experience..

Our business hours are Monday - Friday 8:00am - 6:00pm
We are closed on Saturday and Sunday.
LFVC pays for Team lunches on Monday and Friday for all employees who are scheduled.
LFVC offers a $200.00 monthly stipend for private health insurance to all full-time employees who have been employed for 90 working days.
Qualifications:
Must be comfortable working with all breeds of animals (dogs and cats)
- Must have 2 years experience as a Veterinary Technician
- Must be comfortable around and handling animals (cats and dogs)
- Must be experienced in phlebotomy (blood draws & IV catheters
- Must be experienced with monitoring anesthesia & recovering surgical patients
- Must be able to preform doppler blood pressure readings on patients
- Must be able to preform CPR
- Must be able to lift over 45lbs
- Must be available to work flexible hours
- Must have excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Must have a strong work ethic and be self-motivated
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass a background check
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
