Liberty Healthcare is now accepting applications for a full-time Administrative Assistant position with our organization’s newest forensic mental health program.
This new program will exclusively serve people who have recently been determined to be incompetent to stand trial due to their mental illness. The goal of this program is to provide rapid mental health services to people in need - so they may achieve improved behavioral health outcomes as quickly as possible.
Services will be provided to clients who are adult inmates at jail facilities located in San Diego County.
As an Administrative Assistant with Liberty Healthcare, you will provide a wide array of clerical and administrative support to our leadership team, clinicians and ancillary clinical staff.
Your day to day responsibilities will include:
- Serving the point of contact for internal staff and external stakeholders
- Data entry and electronic filing
- Typing, editing and forms, correspondence and reports
- Assisting with scheduling and timekeeping
- Taking the initiative to find ways to enhance our team’s efficiency and productivity
As a new employee in this role you can expect starting pay between $20.00 and $24.00 per hour (approximately $41,600 to $50,000 annually).
Liberty takes into consideration relevant work experience, professional licensure status and credentials, work schedule / shift, and worksite location when determining a new hire’s specific starting salary.

Your work schedule will be Monday through Friday during regular daytime business hours and you will be required to work onsite in-person at the Las Colinas Detention and Reentry Facility – a jail facility for women, located in Santee, CA. From time to time you may be required to work at other jail facilities located elsewhere in San Diego County.
