What are the responsibilities and job description for the Psychiatric Technician (Saturdays & Sundays) position at Liberty Healthcare Corporation?
Liberty Healthcare is now accepting applications for a part-time Psychiatric Technician position with our organization’s newest forensic mental health program.
The goal of this program is to provide rapid mental health services to people in need, so they may achieve improved behavioral health outcomes as quickly as possible.
The program is designed to facilitate early access to services, eliminate barriers to treatment, and restore people to competency as quickly as possible.
Services are provided to clients who are adult inmates at the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.
As a Psych Tech with Liberty, you enjoy an array of responsibilities, including:
- Providing services to clients one-to-one and in-person
- Administering medications to patients
- Providing health education to clients
- Documenting health status and treatment progress
- Collaborating with security staff
- Consulting with physicians and clinicians
- Helping to ensure program clients receive high quality mental health services
This position will require you to work onsite at the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga, California.
The work schedule for this position is every Saturday and every Sunday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
You can expect to work approximately 16 hours weekly and be paid between $30.00 and $36.00 per hour, depending on experience.
You will also have the opportunity pick up weekday shifts on an as needed basis.
