The Recruitment Specialist is to execute LMH recruitment strategy and to represent our company at various events, including trade schools, career fairs, and community functions. This role is pivotal in promoting our employee-ownership culture, values, benefits and career opportunities to attract top talent. This individual will actively engage with our hiring managers and potential candidates through Talent Sourcing, attending company sponsored events, job fairs, and community outreach events, while effectively utilizing our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to streamline the hiring process.

Key Responsibilities

• Brand Advocacy & Community Engagement

o Represent Liberty Military Housing at local college campuses, trade schools, job fairs, company sponsored events, including San Diego Football Club, to build brand awareness and attract diverse talent.

o Develop and execute strategies to promote our robust training programs, comprehensive benefits, and wellness initiatives.

o Create and share engaging content on social media platforms to highlight our company culture and employee success stories.

o

• Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

o Create effective recruitment and talent sourcing strategies in their assigned territory. 

o Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop targeted recruitment strategies.

o Utilize the ATS to manage candidate pipelines, schedule interviews, and maintain accurate records.

o Conduct initial screenings and interviews to assess candidate qualifications and cultural fit. 

o Create social media content to promote career opportunities. This includes developing visually appealing posts, and utilizing various social media platforms to attract potential candidates.

• Candidate Experience

o Ensure a seamless and professional candidate experience from application to onboarding.

o Act as a primary point of contact for candidates, providing timely communication and updates throughout the hiring process.

Qualifications

• Education & Experience (preferred)

o Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

o Minimum of 2 years of experience in talent acquisition or employer branding, preferably in a corporate or higher education setting.

o Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR technologies.

• Skills & Competencies

o Strong talent sourcing skills. 

o Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

o Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

o Proficiency in social media platforms and online sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter).

o Familiar with employment laws and regulations related to recruitment and hiring.

o Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Additional Requirements

o Willingness to travel locally 50-70% for events and other functions.

o Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.


Pay Range is $34-$38 an hour Plus 15% Bonus.
