Job Details:

Senior Billing Coordinator -- A hybrid work schedule is available! Washington, DC $85-100k

Our growing law firm client in Washington, DC is seeking an experienced Legal Billing professional to handle the entire legal billing process for multiple attorneys across several offices.

  • A flexible, hybrid work schedule is available.

Required

Current / prior legal environment billing experience is required.

Elite, 3E, Aderant or similar legal billing software experience is required.

Bachelor's Degree Preferred, But Not Required.

Specific duties:

  • Creating and reviewing monthly billing reports to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Generating invoices and sending them to clients
  • Coordinating with attorneys and clients to resolve billing discrepancies or disputes
  • Inputting billable hours and expenses into the accounting system
  • Managing and maintaining billing records and files
  • Assisting with the collection and follow-up on unpaid or overdue invoices
  • Collaborating with other departments such as finance and administrative staff to ensure smooth billing processes
