JOB SUMMARY

This position is for a medical office representative whose responsibility is to register all patients, in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with accreditation standards, federal, state and local regulations, organizational and departmental policies and procedures.  The position reports to the Chronic Care Clinical Supervisor. 

Qualifications

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum level of Education: Education level equivalent to completion of four years of high school required. Medical terminology course preferred.

Formal Training: Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.

Licensure, Certifications & Registration: None required.

Work Experience:  Basic computer skills with typing speed of 28 words per minute.  Clerical experience required.  Prior experience working in a hospital/healthcare billing setting preferred.
