Purpose The Resource Coordination Capital Construction role is responsible for overseeing and maintaining accurate construction data, ensuring seamless project tracking, and supporting financial and operational processes. This position involves reviewing daily construction reports, entering data into the SAP system, matching invoices to daily slips, and managing approvals for SESs (Service Entry Sheets) Additionally, the role supports project scheduling, expenditure tracking, and contractor collaboration while providing periodic reporting to various departments, including Operations, Engineering, Sales, and Finance. The individual in this role will also coordinate customer appointments, address inquiries, and facilitate monthly progress assessments. Accountabilities Assists with the rescheduling process related to emergency work encountered during ongoing scheduled work to efficiently allocate the most effective resource from the available portfolio to respond. Plan for the rescheduling of postponed work. Monitors and manages job preparation activities prior to scheduling work as needed (i.e. Correct order created, job check completed, locates valid, proper permitting obtained, work area protection obtained, customer notifications made, special equipment obtained, multiple business unit coordination, etc.) Monitor field resource activity and make appropriate adjustments to subsequent work plans to meet company objectives Ability to effectively manage the execution of Compliance work by coordinating across functions to keep jobs on schedule and on budget (e.g., monitor and track mandated compliance work targets, and the escalation of targets at risk due to changes in workplans and resource availability) Analyzes and prepares reports on mandated work activities (e.g., to support progress tracking, regulatory reporting, etc.) Conducts analysis and reporting/metrics to asset with budget tracking, financial forecasting, project evaluation and monitoring of key project performance indicators for leadership Monitor Operations validation of material estimates for upcoming projects to ensure reservations are complete and mitigate risk of project delay Work with Warehousing to provide input on the coordination and planning of weekly inventory requests for multiple locations so materials are readily available for crews Plan out materials in order to enable bundling by project phase Document, file and track requests for permission required to support maintenance and operations Manage inbound/outbound calls related to Electric residential, commercial and solar customer needs Other duties as assigned Education and Experience Understanding of forecasting, resource planning, interpret legislative and regulatory mandates, managing permits, coordinate efforts of others and prepare professional reports and analysis. Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills. College degree preferred; relevant industry experience is required in place of a relevant degree. Minimum 3 years of experience in related resource planning function. Excellent presentation, communication and customer service skills required. Skilled in computer applications with demonstrated proficiency Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint, Teams) required. Flexible with traveling to offsite locations and maintaining a valid driver’s license required Responsible for work outside of normal work schedule for storm assignments when necessary.
