What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse (RN): Part-Time position at Liberty Village?
The Registered Nurse provides the mandated services that, per Wisconsin statute, must be conducted by a Registered Nurse in an RCAC and CBRF. This is a part time, hourly position.
Responsibilities
- Assist with resident Care Plans.
- Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.
- Observe residents under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications etc.
- Monitoring daily necessary activities such as eating, bathing, etc.
- Oversee Psychotropic Medications
- Oversee staffing responsibility administering medications and training.
- Communicate with residents’ family or friends to provide advice, comfort, and release instructions.
Skills
- Proven experience as RN.
- Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team.
- Familiarity with safety and sanitation standards and procedures.
- Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices.
- Excellent knowledge of medical and Assisted Living terminology.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and data entry.
- Good physical condition and stamina.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and able to handle stress.
- Successful completion of RN license program is a must.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $36.00 - $43.00 per hour
